Nirvana - Buddha
The concept of this painting was in my mind for a really long time, waiting to be recreated on canvas. Finally this artwork took shape and the entire process of painting this one has given me immense peace and satisfaction.
Nirvana, the spiritual goal, is the state in which the mind is at complete peace and the soul is merged with the universe. It is reached when a person’s desires and suffering all go away and they need nor want nothing.
Nirvana is not achievable by one and all but if there is anything that brings peace and happiness, be it an art or words or meditation, it is like a little step towards the same.
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
